We are pleased to announce the 20th anniversary of Community Services for Refugees and Immigrants, founded and directed by Mr. Miguel Arevalo. During all these years, the organization has remained faithful to its mission of helping immigrants and refugees adapt, settle and integrate into Quebec society.
This year 2020 was for everyone a year of abrupt changes to which we had to adapt. It was a priority for us to keep our services open and available to support all those in need. We have thus maintained throughout 2020 a presence and constant support with immigrant and resident communities, asylum seekers and refugees, whether by teleworking or in presence, by appointment, at the centre.
We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support during all these years. Thanks to you, it is possible for us to continue our mission, to support people and families in need, to help them build a life here.
This year we are celebrating our twentieth anniversary!
Twenty years of service already, and yet we still have so much to accomplish. All these years offer us great hope for the future of the organization, they give us the motivation to continue supporting immigrant and resident communities, asylum seekers and refugees for many more years to come. These years have also been rich in experience and learning, we have been able to adapt and reorient our services according to the needs of the people.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, volunteers and our Community Refugee and Immigrant Services (CSRI) team of dedicated workers.
Miguel Arevalo, Director
